Dear Hollywood Schoolhouse Families,

We need your help to make our Schoolhouse Auction 2008 a success!!

This year’s event Legacy: A Night of Heroes will be held on Saturday, May 10th, at the Gilmore Adobe!  The evening will be a fun opportunity to enjoy delicious food, full bar, and bidding in both a silent and live auction, along with music and entertainment.
As a non-profit school, the Hollywood Schoolhouse relies on each family to make this event a success! By supporting the School in our main fundraising event of the year, you help support school facilities, cutting-edge technology, scholarship opportunities, and student programming. There are many ways that you can participate in the Schoolhouse Auction, and we welcome all suggestions for contributions. Please help us in any or all of the following ways:

1. Donate an item

Do you own a business? Do you have great items to donate? Do you have signed memorabilia cluttering your garage? Do you have a timeshare? A vacation home? We encourage you to request donations from local businesses that you frequent, and to ask your friends and families if they can help us. We have a Donations Committee in full swing, to make sure that we don’t duplicate efforts, and go after the same businesses. 2. Give your time

We ask every family to participate in this event, whether or not it’s setting up before the event, creating the auction catalogue, or working at the event itself. To volunteer, please contact Deanne Cherry at: Deanna@deannacherry.com

 

3. Come to the Schoolhouse Auction!

Invitations were mailed over the break, and your ticket purchase is one very important way that you can help defray the costs of planning the evening. You may also invite your colleagues, friends, and families to join us at the auction--it’s fun when you bring a crowd, and it’s a great way for prospective families to learn about the school.
